Disaster Monitoring System
The Chi-Chi Earthquake in Taiwan in 1999 had brought serious damages to the general public, and made the local area fractured and fragile in terms of geology conditions. The heavy rainfalls and typhoons usually cause landslides and debris flows in mountain areas, and usually damage bridges, roads, and structures. In response to these disasters, we offer a reliable monitoring network by combining efficient transmission system and durable sensors, to collect and transmit in-situ data to the Emergency Operation Center during the event time. The monitoring information is helpful for disaster preparation and response.
